In the last seven years, PFI GB Signs have seen incredible growth, more than trebling our turnover at the Manchester site. Significant investments in green and future-focussed production technologies – as well as a growing staff team – have accompanied that growth. We now have some of the most advanced, and most traditional, sign production facilities working side-by-side.
This has all be super exciting times for the PFI team, but it has caused a bit of a squeeze on space.
That little problem has been solved this month, with the relocation of PFI GB Signs’ factory and offices to 60,000sqft facilities in Cheadle, which will be co-located with sister company Cestrian Imaging.
Our new address is:
PFI GB Signs
Stanley Green Industrial Estate
This is only a short journey from our old location – but it is a huge leap in capacity and is allowing us to streamline both our production processes and internal teamworking.
The Cheadle factory houses some of the most advanced digital printing, cutting and laminating technologies for a huge range of substrates, catering for the smallest and largest print jobs, with extensive finishing capabilities.
Alongside this, our fabrication department manufactures both standard and bespoke sign products, from small sign plates up-to large and complex landmark structures, and includes some of the most traditional signmaking die-pressing skills and fly-press equipment.
Office staff have now moved into their modernised open-plan office environment, with more spaces for collaborative working.
Taking advantage of the improved space and workflow will improve throughput times for a wide range of jobs and will enable even further investment in technologies to come.
We are absolutely delighted with the new location – and we think you will be too.
We would love to welcome our customers and suppliers to visit us at the new site – just give your sales or office contact a bell to arrange a visit. The kettle will be on.
