Manchester-based, PFI Group are delighted to announce its second significant acquisition in 2017, having concluded the purchase of Lofthus Signs in Aberdeen this week.
Lofthus Signs, founded in 1951, operates from its base in Aberdeen and is the largest signage company in the North of Scotland. Lofthus Signs has a strong brand in Aberdeen and an enviable reputation within the wider construction and fit out market in Scotland. Additionally, Lofthus Signs has particular expertise in industrial engraving and supplying signs to the offshore oil and gas industry, which adds further unique manufacturing capabilities to the PFI Group.
Lofthus Signs will operate as an independent company from its present location, and the existing management team will be led by Sign Plus MD, James Barbour, who will ensure that Lofthus Signs maximise the supply chain opportunities and synergies that exist within the wider PFI Group.
PFI Group now comprises PFI Signs, GB Sign Solutions, Sign Plus, HT Screenprint and Lofthus Signs. Further acquisitions are planned for the current financial year, in line with our current growth strategy.
