New Product: Traffic Cone Signs

By Eleanor Forrest

An Oxford University study has ranked the live carriageway as the 16th most hazardous place to work in the UK.

In an effort to combat this, PFI have created a cone sign to remind drivers of the dangers that construction workers face. With a simple and powerful message, this sign will humanise the men and women behind the roadworks by urging motorists to consider their speed.

Developed in conjunction with a major civils contractor, PFI believe the important message was worth repeating.

Manufactured with Correx to ensure the product is lightweight and cost-effective, the sign was printed direct-to-board using our high quality Jetrix, digital printer.

Complete with a flat-hinge for easy storage and a snug sleeve ensuring a fast installation onto the traffic cone, this product is definitely convenient and straightforward to use.

From an employer’s perspective, these signs contribute to your employee’s safety and welfare in a cost-effective, efficient and highly visible manner.

The commencement of a number of long-term motorway reconstructions, such as the Smart Motorways Programme lead by Highways England, means that roadworks are a constant for many drivers on the motorway, making the safety of construction workers  paramount.

We all have to work for a living, however not all of us are asked to risk our lives in the process.
